Just wanted to let you know that Wooden Boy have just launched their brand new website, along with youtube channel, twitter and all the rest

We've just posted our brand new music video for 'Enola Gay' which is featured on our current E.P. 'El Paradiso Blando' this is soon to be followed by the release of a live video for 'Work Will Set You Free' which was recorded by Steinberg and Keyhole Productions at the Islington Academy last year, a track which has currently not been studio recorded.

We'd love for you to come by and say hi, check out our stufff and maybe see you at a gig sometime soon, there are gig listings on our myspace with new dates to be added imminently, including our first trip to liverpool to play the cavern club in march!

Hello again folks!!

Bit of a Wooden Boy update for you all...

Wooden Boy made their debut appearance at the Cavern Club, Liverpool this year on the 13th March 2010 and following our barn storming performance we have been re-booked to appear at the Cavern in a little over 2 weeks time on Saturday 1st May. The gig, in association with Jar Music Live and RCA Records represents a HUGE opportunity for the band to strive towards gaining recognised national exposure and ultimately a recording contract with one of the world's leading record companies!

For anybody who hasn't visited the central hub for music in liverpool this is a night you really don't want to miss. The area is buzzing with life, spontaneity & culture with its musical history literally etched into the bricks and mortar that surrounds you! The impact of artists such as the beetles, the rolling stones, the kinks and even Elton John are far from long forgotten within and surrounding the venue, where people literally flock to see with their own eyes a part of our countries heritage, in the hope that they will be there to witness the next great undiscovered act.

Your support is what we really need, we've had a loyal band of Telfordians follow us up and down the country over the last 12 months and now we need you more than ever! The next two gigs we have booked in Liverpool (the latter being an appearance at Liverpool's O2 Academy Mainstage) could mark the start of a very exciting future for us and we'd love to see both new and familiar faces at either of these forthcoming shows. This is your chance to represent Telford and show the rest of the country that we ROCK hard and can mix it with the best of 'em!
